Enemies that are dangerous to you are outlined in red color, whereas those that can be eaten by you are outlined in green color. Use these cues to take quick action when necessary in a hectic game.
Speed Boost helps you in chasing an escaping target or avoiding large opponents; however, it uses up your mass while in effect. Hence, short bursts are more effective than continuous use of speed.
Always anticipate the movement of your opponents rather than following their movement in a straight line. Whenever you are under threat, circle a larger player.
