Start with a small territory, which is also your home base, and opponents can’t easily cut your trail there.
Leave your base to expand your territory; you have to create a trail to enclose new hexagons.
Attract and eliminate exposed rivals by slicing their tails before they return to their base safely.

Capture totems to gain useful advantages such as increased speed, teleportation, slowing effects, or better map visibility.
To start, pick your favorite mode and begin expanding your territory.
Move away from your territory, draw a path around a group of hexagons, and return to your existing territory to claim your new territory and increase your percentage of the map. Keep growing it and work toward the goal of 20% of the map.
If another player or you cross the line before returning safely, you will be eliminated. Of course, you can eliminate opponents by cutting through their exposed tails.
