Voxorp IO is a multiplayer game in which ships fight each other and mine resources at the same time. It all begins with map exploration and resource collection, and XP gain. With increasing power, you can upgrade your ship, and ultimately build your own base that will earn you points and help you climb the leaderboards.
To play the game, move around the map using either the WASD keyboard keys or the arrow keys on the keyboard. Whenever you discover some resources, you can simply click on them and keep clicking to start mining and earn experience points. In every level, you get a new spacecraft along with extra modules.
Modules are very important in making your spaceship better. Drag modules from the inventory to an empty slot to equip your spaceship. Different types of modules give your spaceship some functions like mining, attacking, and moving fast.
After collecting sufficient resources, begin the construction of your base with the help of the tools provided below the screen. You can drag and drop your buildings on the game map, although each building costs some resources. The Dynamo supplies electricity, whereas Scorers provide leaderboard points.
It is as necessary to protect your base as it is to construct it. Turrets attack any player that comes within their range, yet they require electricity for their operation, which will be supplied by the Dynamo. Walls provide a cheap yet sturdy defense with ample health.
Other players can attack both your ship and base, with death being heavily penalized – you lose everything from your ship to all modules and inventory. On the other hand, winning against other players brings you XP. Make sure you upgrade your ship before building to make mining easier.
