BombHopper.io is a physics-based puzzle game where explosive jumps are your main way of moving in a surreal neon environment. In Bomb Hopper.io, you control Hoppi, a cute little square that finds himself in a freezing, colorful world based on the 1980s. Instead of walking, Hoppi uses a grenade launcher to jump through the levels and arrive at the end door.
Use your mouse to aim the bomb and find the right angle before shooting. The explosion moves Hoppi through the air, letting you jump up, down, over obstacles, and even through walls in some levels.
Mouse: Aim and fire bombs.
R: Restart the current level.
The first goal is to get to the door before running out of ammo. Finishing the level faster will give you time to gather all the stars. Some levels are solved using straightforward moves, but some need more inventive solutions with properly timed explosions. In case you have trouble with a level, start again and solve it differently.
Each type of block makes the game interesting and gives you new ways to move. The normal block allows you to walk on it safely, while ice blocks make Hoppi slide. Crumbly blocks can be destroyed with just one explosion, making way for you.
BombHopper.io encourages players to try things out. An explosion that doesn’t work from one point of view could be ideal from another perspective. Make good use of the environment and come up with smart solutions for crossing hard-to-reach spaces.
